Living Water Retreat 2022

The weekend of April 1st, 2022, the ladies of Dearing, GA hosted a women’s retreat. Most of the retreat passed in silence, giving a group of hard-working women some much-needed peace. Several talks gave them food for thought and prayer.

Most of the talks were recorded, though unfortunately, the first one was not due to technical difficulties. I’m making the talks available for women who were not able to go on the retreat. Hopefully, they will bless you. Please forgive the audio quality.

Talk 1 – The Distortion of Feminity… Cultivating the Virtues to Combat the Vices – Fr. Jacob Almeter

Fr. Jacob Almeter is a priest of the Diocese of Savannah and the pastor of Most Holy Trinity Church in Augusta, GA. He also grew up in Dearing.

Talk 2 – The Femine Heart Expressed: Reclaiming and Integrating Emotions – Michael Almeter

Michael Almeter is a married father of 7. He works as a behavioral health provider for the United States Army.

Talk 3 – The Devil We Don’t Know: Recognizing and Resisting Evil in Everyday Life – Mary Krupa

Mary Krupa is a mother of four, a full covenant member of the Alleluia Community, and a former novice with the Sisters of Life. She is also married to the webmaster of this site.
